Our tier 1 Water contractor client are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team based out of their Bristol office on a permanent basis with hybrid working available.You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and you will be expected to take responsibility for the commercial management of a range of projects across water/wastewater.ResponsibilitiesQuantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packagesLiaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control costCollaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are metManage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary Preparation and issue of subcontract documentation Assist in the management and performance of subcontractorsManage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment The preparation of project cost and value reports, budgets and forecasts. Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staffEnsure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
