Role: Layout CAD EngineerLocation: Bridgwater, England.My client is a multinational energy provider in supplying electricity and gas to homes and businesses in the UK.In this role you will:Modify the PDMS 3D models of two plants when site changes significantly impact the design, ensuring adherence to modelling rules and consistency checks. Work includes modelling and detailing components such as equipment, civil structures, steelwork, pipework, HVAC, instrumentation, electrical systems, and supports. Tasks involve detailed 2D/3D modelling for layout queries, 2D drawings for site adaptations, addressing site requests through analysis and coordination, performing 2D-3D checks, and creating technical documents (eg, Equipment Location Books, Layout Drawings).All activities will be supervised by the Layout Discipline Lead and CAD Team Lead.
