HV /EHV Senior Design Engineers The successful candidates must possess demonstrable design experience from LV to 132kv from within the power, utilities and / or critical national electrical infrastructure sectors. This position allows for some hybrid working, with up to 1-2 days working from home, the rest in the Northwest office. Our Client Our client is responsible for the construction, maintenance, upkeep, renewal, refurbishment and repair of electricity transmission and distribution networks, assets and systems. This includes sub-stations, overhead lines, underground cables, and all associated equipment such as switchgear and transformers. Overview Our client now wishes to appoint a number of highly motivated and industry experienced HV / EHV Design Engineers. The main purpose of these roles will be to take responsibility for managing the development and production of highly competitive and innovative designs for multiple contracts, frameworks or singular projects, ensuring maximum opportunity and minimum risk, and that stakeholders receive a high-quality service, on schedule and to challenging budget requirements. The successful candidate will also contribute to HV / EHV preconstruction activities, ensuring successful project support at the front-end stages and timely handover to operations.
