Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Design and Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and contribute to the development of the department and school
• Develop and implement an innovative curriculum that encourages students to experiment with various design concepts, materials, and technologies
• Engage in extracurricular activities such as clubs, workshops, or school projects to spark students'' interest in Design and Technology
• Provide constructive feedback to support students'' academic and personal development
• Foster a safe and engaging learning environment that combines both theory and practical work
• Manage department resources and equipment, ensuring high standards of safety and organization

Qualifications andamp; Experience:

• Experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary school level is preferred
• Strong knowledge in areas such as product design, resistant materials, and electronics
• A passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to enhance their creativity and technical skills
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse needs of learners
• A commitment to nurturing an inclusive, innovative learning environment
