Our Client, a large and fast-growing Finance Sector firm are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their busy Finance Department. Joining a large team, you will be working for one of the Financial Reporting Managers, responsible for ensuring that source data used by the Financial Reporting team is delivered on time, of a high quality and able to stand up to external scrutiny. The Financial Reporting Accountant will: Prepare internal, external and regulatory reports Support the monthly close process within agreed timelines, ensuring quality and integrity of reporting Work alongside the actuarial team, to understand and rationalise the results Engage with management and Regulators as required to explain the results Participate in project work to enhance our financial reporting working alongside other members of the Finance team The ideal candidate for the Financial Reporting Accountant role will be: A qualified accountant, or very nearly qualified Essential - experience in financial reporting and management accounting within the insurance sector Strong / advanced MS Excel skills Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work to challenging deadlines ..... full job details .....
