WTG TandI Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in ScotlandResponsibilitiesExpected to work with sufficient autonomy and lead the technical aspects of the Transportation and Installation scope all along the project life cycle.Analyse, recommend and optimise offshore installation and logistic concepts and methodologies from early design up to the offshore campaignSupport Key project tender activities including development of technical requirements, evaluation of technical proposals and contract negotiations.Review method statements and risk assessments and produce comments sheetsProvide input to the risk and programme analysisRespond to technical queries or interface with other packages/Contractors to resolve queriesReview engineering calculations (in general) and identify issues / risks to the ProjectLiaison with the Marine Warranty Surveyor service, ensuring the transport and installation methodology is approvedPromote a strong, clear and positive health and safety cultureEnsure compliance with offshore marine and lifting regulationsAttendance to meetings, and participation in the required discussions, at the project offices, as well as at the Contractors and Site officesDelivery of all technical tasks, including production of documents, attendance to meetings, reports, technical evaluations, specifications, alternatives assessments, site inspections, etc., as requiredSupport HAZID/HAZOP for loadout, transport and installation equipment design and ..... full job details .....
