Collaborate closely with Regional Finance teams and other business functions (including MandA) to ensure accurate and consistent accounting treatment. Your new roleServe as the primary contact for regional finance teams and other business functions on IFRS accounting treatments.Proactively engage with the business to interpret and address the accounting implications of MandA activity, complex arrangements, and non-routine transactions.Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional finance teams and other business functions to provide timely and accurate technical accounting guidance.Develop, maintain, and embed accounting policies throughout the Group.Prepare and review technical accounting papers documenting conclusions on complex accounting matters, ensuring accurate interpretation of accounting standards and associated guidance.Ensure complex transactions and accounting judgements are documented in a clear, concise, and consistent manner.Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent application of accounting standards across the Group.Interact with external auditors on the interpretation and accounting treatment of complex accounting matters, articulating the Group''s interpretation and providing supporting ..... full job details .....
