Garden Maintenance Operative Full-time/ Salary £30k + Package and company vechile / 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (with overtime/weekend work available.) Location: Across various London sites Job Description The Maintenance Operative participates in the day-to-day maintenance of designated gardens and is directed by the Team Leader. Responsibilities include carrying out various garden tasks as requested, care of equipment and tools, and following instructions as required. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Supervisors. Requirements Minimum of one year experience in residential garden maintenance/soft landscaping, or a combination of transferable skills, love of working outdoors and keenness to learn and progress. A basic knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in garden maintenance operations, standard horticultural practices (planting, pruning, fertilising, etc.) and growth characteristics and identification of a wide variety of plants Compulsory: Drivers Licence. Desirable: Basic first aid certificate or greater Desirable: Horticultural qualifications Desirable: PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates. Physical aptitude to working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions - physical demands include lifting and carrying, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, kneeling and repetitive motion.
