The main responsibilities will include:Liaising with appropriate authoritiesEnsuring drawings are produced to enable a site to be developedChecking detailed construction drawingsIdentifying and resolving technical and construction issues as they ariseDelivering technical design approvals for the projectsWorking within established budgetsPreparing and presenting the design program at progress meetingsCarrying out site inspectionsSuitable applicants will possess a strong knowledge of house construction and a degree of flair for design. Ideally candidates will be degree educated in Architecture or Civil Engineering or, possess an HNC in Building Studies or a related discipline.
