We''re looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to take on the role of Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk in the south of Leeds! In this role you will have the opportunity to work as a part of a professional and experienced accounting team.Day to day you will be expected to carry out such roles as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control duties, having a strong attention to detail in data entry and updating the database, providing administrative support to the accounting team, have a clear and confident phone presence and also be able to assist with journals, VAT and bank reconciliations.If this sounds like a role that would suit you, you will need the following to be considered: Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Great organisational skills. At least 1 year experience in Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger as well as Credit Control experience. Payroll experience is an advantage. The ability to work individually as well as within a team. Excellent communication skills both inter-personally and over the phone.
