Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer with experience in Drainage and Highways, to join their team. About the role: To deliver drainage and highway designs on all the projects. Responsibilities: Work within a team and give specialist knowledge and drainage/highways designs as well as other projects Represent the company at various clients To deliver technical expertise to colleagues and clients Identify project risks and opportunities Co-ordinate tenders Be able to input into civil engineering tendering processes by: Reviewing client ITTs Develop civil design strategies Requirements: Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or Chartered or working towards CAD package experience as well as Flow or Micro Drainage Minimum of 5 years working on projects where drainage/highways was a key/integral component of the design Flood risk assessment awareness Must have knowledge of design and approvals for S278 and S38 highway schemes with design capability when supervised by senior staff Must have knowledge of design and approvals of S104, S106 and S185 drainage schemes A civil design environment preferably within a consultancy environment Complete site visits and surveys Infrastructure project exposure ideally in rail or power stations ..... full job details .....
