TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED - YEAR 3 CLASSAcademics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class in a vibrant and Outstanding primary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team working 5 mornings per week, providing key support to pupils in their learning journey. The position is temporary, running until Christmas 2024 initially.Key Responsibilities:Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.Support pupils with varying abilities to reach their full potential.Assist with classroom management and the preparation of learning resources.Foster a safe and caring environment for all students.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.A passion for supporting children''s learning and development.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to work effectively as part of a team.Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.Experience in a Year 3 classroom (desirable but not essential).Available and happy to work 5 mornings per weekIf you have the relevant skills and experience to make a genuine difference to the learning of pupils then this could be the perfect role for you.
