Senior Independent Domestic Violence Advocate - Cardiff Your new company We are looking to recruiting personable, flexible and motivated senior domestic violence support workers to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our users. You will be involved in the care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside staff from other professions, as well as leading a team of IDVA''s and reporting to management. Your new roleWorking closely with the users to manage their needs on a caseload basis. This will involve liaising with other agencies to help the people who are being referred to the service who need emotional support and guidance to achieve a positive outcome. You will also be responsible for leading a team of IDVA''s, managing referrals and being the link person between management and IDVA''s. This is a fast-paced role, where you will be completing admin duties, going out into the community to meet with new referrals and your case load, as well as working with other charities. Typical shifts will be 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. You will be working with individuals who are victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
