A newly created growth position reporting into the Financial Director, taking full responsibility for the timely collection of debt across the group companies. This permanent and varied credit control role involves setting credit limits, taking appropriate action on credit/debt processes and query management. You will oversee and supervise one accounts receivable assistant, while remaining hands-on. Your new roleYour key duties will involve proactively managing the credit control processes across the group of companies, including the timely collection of debt and related accounts receivable processes. You will oversee and remain hands-on in cash allocation processes, approving and monitoring credit limits, escalating debt problems to senior management and debt/credit query resolution. You will have strong knowledge of the whole credit cycle; line manage the existing Accounts Receivable Assistant and allocate work to ensure credit/AR tasks are completed accurately and on time.
