Your new role Maintain significant contact with internal and external stakeholders, providing detailed technical, professional, policy, and operational support. Undertake end-to-end case management activities with appropriate oversight. Resolve matters through case management of applications related to reviewable decisions. Manage complex cases, develop options for early resolution, and apply alternate dispute resolution methods. Attend case conferences, conciliations, and hearings. Prepare documents detailing resolution options and outcomes. Assess and respond to priority and risk matters, ensuring the sustainability of the scheme. Work within the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) Case Management Branch, managing all external review applications and improving the experience of current and prospective participants by resolving disputes in a timely and consistent manner. Apply and interpret relevant legislation, including the relevant acts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and policies. Utilise model litigant principles in dispute resolution processes. What you'll need to succeed Professional, technical, or management knowledge in a specialised area across a range of activities. The ability to coordinate a team working on specific projects or provide professional/technical oversight for specialist activities. Competence in making decisions on tasks/assignments with considerable complexity and sensitivity. Discretion and initiative over a broad area of activity with autonomy and accountability in interpreting policy and applying practices and procedures. Familiarity with legal case management, including the systematic organisation and coordination of legal cases, scheduling court appearances, and preparing court documents.
