This is a Monday to Friday 9 am-5pm position to start after the half term break.The successful Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will provide essential support to students with a range of special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, behavioural difficulties, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This role involves working 1:1 and with small groups within the classroom setting.Class sizes are small, typically 6-7 per class where you will be supporting on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. Well structured lessons and where a number of courses are offered to students.• Experience in supporting students with ASD, SEMH, behavioural difficulties, and ADHD in an educational setting.• Experience working as either an LSA OR SEN TA/ Behaviour Support / Learning Mentor or Child residential Worker• You have an enhanced child and adult DBS on the update service or able to put a new one in process ASAP.• You live in easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Bexley.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.• ..... full job details .....
