Term full-time vacancy up to 14/04/2027. South Australia Police (SAPOL) provides a diverse range of services to the community aimed at producing a safe and peaceful environment by minimising crime and disorder. The SAPOL Firearms Program (SAFP) comprises a set of technical and business-focused projects aimed at improving SAPOL and community safety. The program will digitise firearm-related services to the community and implement a new firearm register to support SAPOL's Firearms Branch (FAB). The program will also collaborate with other state, territory, and commonwealth law enforcement jurisdictions as part of national efforts to standardise firearms information and improve access to firearms information for law enforcement jurisdictions nationwide, through the implementation of a National Firearms Register (NFR).

Your new role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the program and will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather and confirm requirements, creating detailed process documentation, and defining future functionalities to support the development of work packages. You will also work closely with the business to define and develop new business processes and support the implementation of Dynamics 365.

What You'll Need To Succeed Proven experience as a Business Analyst on major software implementation projects, covering requirements management, business process analysis, modelling, prototyping, information analysis, and overseeing the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Demonstrated expertise in managing stakeholders, including business representatives and solution implementation teams.Demonstrate ability to analyse complex business processes, identify areas for improvement, and work with stakeholders to define new business processes.Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate an ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively while remaining adaptable to changing project requirements and shifting priorities. Special Conditions The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program. Salary ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum.
