Mechanical Assembly Technician Do you have a background in Mechanics, either through work or as a hobby If yes then SP Genevac, part of a well-established and highly regarded scientific equipment brand manufacturer, due to an increase in volume is seeking multiple Assembly Technicians to join our company based in Ipswich, on a full-time basis.SP Genevac are a well-established and highly regarded scientific equipment brand manufacturer and supplier of research and production capital equipment with uses including in the work to defeat covid 19. We are a business who takes pride in our work and like what we do! We will allow you to learn and develop your skills giving you the opportunity to use them on a daily basis. The Assembly Technician will be expected, after training, to build and test from the complete range of SP products manufactured at the Ipswich facility. The Assembly Technician will report to the Production Manager.For the successful candidate, there is a three-tier progression system, supporting training and understanding across our products.For the Assembly Technician the key tasks will beAssembly of mechanical and electrical sub-systems and full build of SP products.Testing of mechanical and electrical assemblies to ensure the product meets the quality standards.Chamber and condenser assembly, including gassing/evacuation and brazingLow level fault diagnoses and correctionMovement of materials / products.In process quality inspection / testing of material and ..... full job details .....
