Your new role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, attract prospective clients, and promote a positive image within the community. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, particularly within the higher education sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall messaging and direction.
  • Manage and enhance brand identity, ensuring consistent application across all channels.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, and social media.
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics and optimise strategies to maximise ROI.
  • Manage relationships with creative, media, and other key agencies.
  • Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualifications:

  • Completion or progress towards a relevant postgraduate qualification with extensive relevant experience.
  • Proven knowledge and skills in developing and implementing best-practice marketing strategies.
  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing at a leadership level.
  • The ability to develop and drive coherent branding, messaging, and content.
  • Strong project management skills to deliver multidisciplinary projects on time and on budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of the Australian tertiary education market and contemporary issues.

Additional Information:

  • Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History Check and Working with Children (Ochre) Card.
  • The successful candidate will be required to travel between campuses and other locations as needed.
