East ReadingLegal Secretary - ConveyancingOur client is seeking a Legal Secretary with property experience to support their busy team. They are looking for applications from experienced Legal Secretaries who have worked in residential conveyancing.You will carry out all secretarial tasks and help where necessary with all administrative requirements. You will be required to take calls and to provide transaction updates to clients and estate agents.In this role you will be supporting the partner, and your tasks will be as below:Preparing various legal documents and using digital dictationMaking online searches and Land Registry applications and SDLT returnsUsing the case management systemOpening and managing paper and electronic filesLiaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other organisationsManaging diaries and meetings for the partner and wider teamManage expense reports accurately for budget control purposesProcessed mail, email and phone enquiries, minimising correspondence backlogsProducing monthly billing and WIP reportsCreating and maintaining deeds packets for the departmentTravel arrangementsArranging marketing and entertainment events for the officeThe person:Over 2 years experience as a property legal assistant / para legal / legal executive and you will have worked in the property department of a firm of solicitorsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood attention to detail with good keyboard and word processing skillsGood ..... full job details .....
