Management Accountant

I am working with a leading healthcare chain as they are hiring a Management Accountant for their office based in Dublin 9. The role offers an extremely competitive salary and hybrid working. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business decision-making by preparing accurate financial reports, analysing key data, and ensuring effective financial planning and control. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Planning and Budgeting Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations to management. 2. Management Reporting Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports. 3. Cost Analysis & Control Analyse and report on cost centres, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency. Support cost control initiatives across departments. 4. Compliance and Controls Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls as well as developing procedures when necessary. Work with auditors during internal and external audits, along with the Senior Finance Manager. 5. Collaboration and Support Act as a financial advisor to department heads, providing insights and guidance. Collaborate with the wider finance team on month-end and year-end processes. Key Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification (e.G., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) preferred or actively working towards certification. EU Passport/Stamp 4 Visa Required. Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis in Ireland. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling. Experience with accounting software (e.G., Netsuite/Oracle systems). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
