Techniche Global are supporting leading Chemical Manufacturer based in Trafford, Manchester to appoint Quality Control Manager As Quality Control Manager you will strive to ensure that our product is manufactured to client specification by supporting the team through their daily use of analytical techniques such as HPLC and UV-vis spectrophotometry, as well as a variety of equipment such as viscometer, flash point tester. Responsibilities: Ensuring that product meets correct specification before being delivered to clients utilising various analytical methods. Leading on investigations related to or impacting QC department responsibilities, solution finding and implementing corrective actions for future success. Being proactive by using data from investigations to identify business improvements. Strong understanding of the importance of health and safety, working alongside other departments such as SHE to ensure the department works within the health and safety rules and procedures on site. Understanding the needs of and developing the experienced and skilled team through mentoring and training. Ensuring QC processes are documented and updated. Identifying and implementing QC test improvements (including new equipment). Working cross functionally to ensure efficient business operations. Have an in-depth understanding of operational activities on site. Collaborating across sites to ensure best practice processes are in place.
