Location: PL1 - Ballard House
Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, 09:00-17:00
Assignment: Temporary role from 10/03/2025 to 12/09/2025
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Minute Taker to join the team. Responsibilities nclude:
- Taking minutes of child protection and other statutory meetings.
- Supporting the independent chair in updating child protection plans.
- Ensuring accurate recording of meeting attendees and their contact details.
- Handling information securely during and after meetings.
- Inputting data accurately into the IT system.
- Suggesting improvements for service efficiency and customer experience.
- Performing other duties as required.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based software.
- Administrative experience with office procedures.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Teamwork experience.
- Minute and note-taking skills.
- Ability to summarise discussions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to concentrate during lengthy meetings.
- Emotional resilience.
- Strong literacy and time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience in statutory children''s services.
