The successful Candidate will play a vital role in the various printing processes (platemaking, print finishing, letterpress etc and part of a very successful team. The Role: Letterpress operation -mounting printing plates, setting packing and ink flow to achieve accurately positioned, clean and legible printed material. Operating both platen and cylinder presses. Platemaking - making letterpress plates for use on Heidelberg printing presses. Guillotine - operating a programmable Polar 92 Guillotine. Print finishing - set up and operation of folding, laminating, folder gluer, stitching and drilling machines. This part of the job will also involve specialized hand finishing. (Full training will be given). Ensure that implementation of all print literature and material are co-ordinated and carried out in accordance with Company policies and using appropriate systems and documents. An opportunity to learn to operate a digital press and train to use industry standard software, such as; Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
