Inclusion at the BFI aims to move towards a more focused, sustainable, deep-rooted and authentic version of Diversity and Inclusion work in the film industry. The 3 key practices are: Community Building: build dynamic, intersectional spaces of understanding for persistently marginalised communities. Access Enabling and Knowledge Sharing: utilise the BFI brand to support, legitimise and amplify the work of grassroots and community organisations and their beneficiaries. Consultancy and Advocacy: use our research, expertise and reputation to advocate for this work being undertaken in the right way by other organisations, agencies and businesses across the UK and internationally.
