About the Role: As Farm Technician, you ll: Care of animals, including daily checks, feeding, grooming, show preparation, bedding up, and assisting with breeding and lambing. Maintain farm equipment and structures, performing minor repairs and ensuring safety. Support students during practical lessons and prepare resources for their agricultural education. Work on a rota system to cover farm duties throughout term time, weekends, and holidays. Contribute to events such as Open Days, Lambing Days, and community shows, ensuring the farm is a welcoming and engaging environment. What We re Looking For: Practical experience in livestock care and farm operations. Strong maintenance and organisational skills. A passion for working with young people and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment. Agricultural qualifications (Level 2 or higher) and a full UK car licence, for tractor driving and checking of stock is essential. Why Join Us?
