Job Title: Geography Teacher

Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury

Salary: andpound;29,344 - andpound;44,919 Per annum

Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum
• Assess and evaluate students'' progress through assignments, exams, and projects
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and activities
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents/guardians

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Geography or a related field
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Geography
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor''s degree in Geography or related field
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is desirable

Experience:

• Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of geographical concepts and principles
• Ability to use a variety of teaching methods to engage students
• Strong classroom management skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master''s degree in Geography or Education
• Experience in leading field trips or extracurricular geography activities
