The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fast-paced manufacturing environments and the ability to deliver comprehensive electrical support across the entire site.This company offers a flexible 45-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, allowing you to manage your schedule while ensuring core business hours are covered.Electrical Engineer Duties Include:Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentSupport all production departments across the siteInstall and maintain electrical and electronic systemsTroubleshoot and repair machinery failures using PLCs and test equipmentProgram and update PLCs (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi systems experience is a plus)Upgrade outdated systems for improved reliability and consistencyAssist production when needed to meet output targetsIdentify areas for improvement and cost reductionMaintain records using maintenance softwareEnsure compliance with safety regulations and audits Qualifications and Experience:5+ years in a production support roleStrong electrical and electronic fault-finding skillsLevel 3 qualification in electrical/electronic engineering (or similar)Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, inverters, and 3-phase systemsLevel 4/5 qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field (e.g. Mechatronics)In-depth knowledge of automation systems, electrical control panels, PLC ..... full job details .....
