Immediate Start Available Senior Procurement Officer - 1 Year Contract - Swindon Borough Council Salary: 60.00 Per Hour Hours: 37 Hours Working Schedule: Monday to Friday Contract Length: 12 Month Contract Location: Swindon Job Details Re-procurement of the managed stores the contract is currently held by a Building Supplier and the project will take around 6-9 months to procure given we need stock lists updated. This is a big project and needs someone skilled to take this through from start to finish. Some big and complex pieces of procurement including possible framework but not via a third party framework. Requirement to be in the office at Waterside Park at least 2 days per week (possibly more once work commences on the managed stores contract) not necessarily consecutive so fully remote workers will not be considered. Must be qualified and have undertaken certification in the new Procurement Act 2023 which is due to be implemented end of Feb 25. No candidates will be considered unless they have received training in the new act.
