Summary We''re looking for a Data Protection Office Assurance Manager to help support and develop this important compliance function. Our dedicated Data Protection team is part of the wider IT Assurance group, playing a key role in enabling the National Trust to deliver securely on its strategic objectives. What it''s like to work here The Trust''s Data Protection Office (DPO) is a close-knit and busy team dedicated to the protection of personal data across all National Trust''s functions and activities. By putting individuals at the heart of everything we do, we help the Trust meet our compliance obligations in accordance with current legislation (UK General Data Protection Regulation / Data Protection Act 2018) and the guidance of the Information Commissioner''s Office (ICO). This is a varied and fast-paced role that will involve working flexibly and independently to meet changing priorities, including having the ability to know when to escalate risks or issues. Your contractual location will be our central office Heelis in Swindon where we meet on a regular basis as a team, However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
