Are you a confident individual who would feel comfortable leading the class as an Unqualified History Teacher?The School and RoleWe are working with a multi-academy trust school in Wickford who are seeking confident Graduates to work as Unqualified History Teachers. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts.As an Unqualified History Teacher, you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. Based on your subject specialism, you will be supporting students in the absence of the teacher. Unqualified History Teachers will be responsible for teaching students at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. Successful Unqualified History Teachers are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.This role provides a great opportunity to gain experience of working within a Secondary school prior to applying to Initial Teacher Training. Although previous experience of working in a Secondary School is desirable it is not essential.
