Improver /Electricians Mate (Solar Farms) required to work around the Essex area. You must be able to travel up to an hour away. Further overnight travel may be required occasionally (Travel/hotel expenses covered and 25 lunch voucher upfront provided). My client is happy to take on a Domestic electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic jobs. Working on Solar Farms is more niche and outside - full training will be provided. Ideally this will be temp/contract/subbing for 3 months and then go onto my client''s books/payroll. Job Responsibilities: Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables. Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations. Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes. Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6). Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of PV solar systems according to the latest edition of BS EN (phone number removed) and other relevant standards. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards Skills and Qualifications required: Valid CSCS card 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Experience in Solar electrical work is preferred but not essential. NVQ Level 2/3 Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
