About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering engaging lessons that meet the curriculum standards
- Teaching a variety of topics in physical, human, and environmental geography
- Using diverse teaching methods, such as interactive activities and group discussions, to engage students
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning
- Maintaining discipline in the classroom and promoting a positive learning atmosphere
- Providing constructive feedback on student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Inspiring students to develop a genuine passion for geography and related subjects
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Unqualified teachers are also welcome to apply)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for teaching and supporting young people in their academic journey
- Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to commute to High Wycombe and surrounding areas
