They are currently looking for a skilled Senior Grid Engineer to join their team for a six-month contract.Job Responsibilities/ObjectivesDesign and build the Grid platform in line with strategic IT architectureManage and maintain the Grid platformOptimize cloud engine performance on Azure and AWS for efficient workload executionMonitor and optimize the deployment of workloads in cloud environmentsDevelop and maintain automation tools using Python and PowershellManage infrastructure expansions and complianceMake cost efficiency recommendationsCollaborate with business, quant and other IT teams to deliver on projectsProvide third-line technical support for the technology platformAct as an escalation point for troubleshooting and resolve production issues.Collaborate with developers to investigate and fix grid-related issues impacting grid applicationsCreate and maintain detailed documentation for processes, tools and troubleshooting procedures.Required Skills/ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have the following:Ability to work in a fast paced high pressure environment, where stability and reliability is criticalExperience with large scale Grid computing environments 100,000+ cores (DataSyanpse Tibco GridServer / IBM ..... full job details .....
