We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Clerk of Works based in London to join a great team within a large London Based Housing Association, On a Fixed Term Contract. Location: This is a hybrid role covering multiple locations across London. Salary: Circa £45,000 - £55,000 Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day quality control and compliance across the Social Housing Decarbonisation fund programme and Planned Works. You will be focusing on retrofits and energy efficiency improvements. Conduct regular site visits to assess the progress and quality of works being carried out, ensuring building standards and design specifications are being met. Verifying that work complies with the latest building regulations. Directing and monitoring contractors, acting as their main point of contact and providing technical advice and guidance. Liaising directly with residents. Requirements: An in-depth knowledge of construction standards and design specifically in relations to energy efficiency and Decarbonisation. Exceptional communication skills across all levels and forms of delivery. Experience in a similar role within the housing or public sector works.
