Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Foster studentsandrsquo; practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through hands-on projects and activities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, respect, and teamwork.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and design-related events.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative DT Teacher who can bring the subject to life and inspire students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and encouraging students to think critically and innovatively.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialisation in Design and Technology or related fields.
• Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and flexible approach to teaching, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
