Infrastructure Support and Server Build Engineer+ 4 month initial vontract+ Hybrid role+ 450 to 500 per day - Outside IR35+ SC Cleared role We are seeking a Server Build Engineer to join our team for an Operating System upgrade project. The role involves upgrading from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2019/2022 on a secure enterprise infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both high- and low-level design documents, implementing Windows Server builds, and provisioning mechanisms.Day to Day of the role: Develop deployment strategies for multiple Windows Server builds. Design automated server build processes and implement a HyperV infrastructure, including automated provisioning of VMs. Work with MECM/SCCM for server deployment and application integration. Design and implement a Microsoft Certificate Authority Solution. Develop Windows Server firewall configurations and integrate packaged applications into the server provisioning. Adhere to CESG guidance, DISA STIGs, and implement security profiles to meet these requirements. Create Group Policy Objects and PowerShell scripts to support the infrastructure. Produce high-level and low-level design documentation, transition plans, and user documentation.
