Salary: andpound;150 - andpound;225 per day (D.O.E)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate / February Half Term

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the department to share ideas, resources, and best practices, contributing to a positive team culture.
  • Design lessons that are both challenging and inspiring, encouraging students to think critically and develop their understanding of history.
  • Foster a love of History in the classroom, encouraging curiosity and making connections between the past and the present.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through regular feedback and assessments, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Support students outside of the classroom with additional learning opportunities, including revision sessions and extra-curricular activities.
  • Ensure a positive, respectful learning environment by managing behaviour in line with school policies.
