If so, our client is searching for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure operations run smoothly in their Container Division and contribute to keeping the world moving!What s the role?As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you ll play a key role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of vital port equipment. Working closely with the Engineering team, you ll: Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and corrective tasks on Gantry Cranes (STS and CRMGs) and associated equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve faults on PLC systems, motors/controls, and variable speed drives.Handle both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring all electrical work meets the highest safety standards.Take on tasks like setting up hoist ropes, measuring brakes, stripping gearboxes, and working on hydraulic circuits.Work collaboratively with managers and engineers to deliver seamless service across the port estate.
