This is a physical role focused on building steel frames, requiring practical skills and experience using a range of tools.This is a long-term, full-time position with the potential to become permanent.Pay: 13.00 per hourHours:Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pmFriday: 7:30 am - 2:00 pm1-hour break: Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute breakOvertime availableDuties:Hands-on assembly of steel frames and componentsWorking as part of a team on the production line (up to 7 operatives, including a working chargehand)Using various power tools, including battery-operated tools, to assemble steel framesReading and interpreting technical plansAccurately measuring materials using a tape measurePhysically handling and moving products (6-12kg), either individually or with assistanceMaintaining high standards of housekeepingRequirements:Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced, physical, and hands-on roleSelf-motivated, reliable, with good timekeeping and attendancePositive attitude with flexibility and adaptabilityPhysically fit with no underlying musculoskeletal issuesAdditional Information:Manual handling training providedMethod Statements and Risk Assessments reviewed prior to startingUniform provided after probationPPE and ..... full job details .....
