About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will inspire students to develop their writing, reading, and analytical skills, ensuring they achieve their full potential. In addition to classroom teaching, you will have the opportunity to contribute to extracurricular activities related to literature and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured and creative English lessons, following the national curriculum.
- Support and guide students in developing strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and intellectual curiosity.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the English departmentandrsquo;s extracurricular programs.
Requirements:
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
