Double Day Electrical Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer based in Leicestershire. This is a permanent career opportunity for a qualified and experienced electrical engineer working Monday to Friday, rotating weekly 5.30 am 1.30 pm/1.30 pm 9.30 pm. Working for a leading manufacturer, the package offers a salary of up to £42500 plus enhanced holiday entitlement, a contributory pension scheme and paid overtime. Your key responsibilities will include ongoing planned and preventative maintenance within a fast-moving production environment, ensuring that all equipment and services are maintained to the highest Health and Safety and operating standards. The need to reduce engineering downtime is crucial, therefore the need to respond rapidly to machine breakdowns and failures is critical, working within the wider engineering team to deliver, develop and improve maintenance schedules. As a Double Day Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be educated to HNC/ONC and/or NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or as a time-served engineer, you will be able to evidence at least 3-5 years previous, relevant maintenance engineering experience. Reporting to the site engineering manager, you will need to undertake projects and assist with all on-site installations and machinery/equipment assessment.
