Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans focused on reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills, incorporating both classic and contemporary literature.
- Create a classroom culture that encourages students to express their ideas and opinions while developing their analytical and communication skills.
- Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
- A degree in English, English Literature, or a related field (a recognized teaching qualification, such as QTS, is preferred).
- Experience teaching English or related subjects, either in previous roles or student teaching.
- A genuine passion for literature and a dedication to helping students develop their own voices and perspectives.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
