The Role/Responsibilities:

• Offer patient and empathetic support to children with complex learning difficulties.
• Communicate effectively with parents and teachers, providing behavioural and emotional guidance.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored support for students exhibiting challenging behaviour.
• Work with SEN pupils on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis, adjusting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Bring creativity and fresh ideas to lessons to engage and inspire students.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Follow child protection, health, safety, and confidentiality policies, reporting any concerns as required.
• Support with pupil supervision before and after school, as well as during breaks.

Ideal Candidate:

• A strong understanding of SEN and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
• NVQ in Childcare and Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (unqualified candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Experience supporting children''s social and emotional development.
• Enthusiastic and committed to making a positive impact on studentsandrsquo; lives.
• Ability to commute to Chesham.
• Current valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.
