A fantastic opportunity has presented to work as an intervention teacher supporting KS2 pupils in a ''Good'' two-form entry school in Tameside. This is full-time role beginning March 2025 and will run until at least the end of May with the possibility of an extension. The school will consider applications from teachers with KS2 experience, strong subject knowledge and an awareness of age-related expectations and transitions across KS2. The role will involve working with small groups of children in years 6 on a weekly rota. You will be expected to recognise and respond to misconceptions in learning, address missed curriculum content and bridge the gaps in order to accelerate progress. You will liaise regularly with class teachers to create group intervention plans and deliver learning to target specific objectives.
