Igloo is recruiting both trainee and experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers for our client based in Newcastle. We are looking for drivers to train as 11+ car transporter drivers, as well as experienced professionals. About the Role Driving an HGV car transporter carrying 11+ new or used vehicles. Loading and unloading cars, vans, and other vehicles onto and off the transporter. Inspecting vehicles before loading to ensure they are in good condition. Interacting with dealerships and clients directly. Delivering vehicles to dealerships and small businesses across the area. What We re Looking For A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence. At least 6 months of driving experience in the last 2 years. An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tacho Card. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (minor offences only). Confidence driving vehicles onto trailers at height. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to high standards.
