Introduction The Parliamentary Security Department (PSD) is responsible for physical and personnel security across both Houses of Parliament and provides support to Members and staff when away from the Estate. Its purpose is to keep Parliament safe and open for business. The Role The security of MP''s, their staff and families, is of utmost importance to Parliament. The teams within the service, monitor threats, assess risk, manages deployment and maintenance of the security measures installed in MP''s offices and homes.
