This firm delivers professional services to public and private sector developers and housebuilders, with a focus on innovation and excellence.Responsibilities:Work in a range of sectors, from residential buildings to rail transportation and new energy facilities.Manage multiple engineering projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and codes while supporting junior team members.Support the delivery of project work and track evolving project milestones and budgets.Stay up-to-date with regulations and legislation.Chartered or on the path to Chartership with a relevant institute.Develop fire strategies and assess fire-related risks in projects, collaborating to mitigate risks where possible.Review and comment on the quality of fire safety installations.Undertake tenders for new work and develop client relationships to foster potential work opportunities.Prepare reports, participate in design team meetings, and liaise with client representatives as required.Support and develop junior team members, acting as a technical reviewer on project submissions.Requirements:Engineering degree, preferably in fire engineering, or a postgraduate qualification in fire engineering (candidates with different backgrounds also considered).Experience in fire engineering roles, including positions outside of consultancy.Strong experience ..... full job details .....
