We''re recruiting for an Engineering Technician with a strong food / FMCG background to join one of the UK''s leaders in their sector. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you will lead a shift team of three, including yourself and two multi-skilled engineers.- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance, repairs, and improvements to meet production and safety standards.- Conduct planned maintenance, fault-finding, and technical support to minimise downtime.- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive continuous improvement for equipment reliability.- Manage resources, plan work, and maintain engineering standards.- Train and mentor team members, covering for the Engineering Team Leader as required.Requirements: - Fully qualified, multi-skilled engineer - Prior food / FMCG / packaging / pharmaceutical experience. - Excellent fault-finding and RCA (Root Cause Analyses) skills. - Some projects experience would be beneficial. - Experience maintaining a CMMS system. - Strong decision making ability. 12-hour, slow rotating shift pattern.
