They are currently looking for a skilled Database Engineer to join their team for a six-month contract.Job Responsibilities/ObjectivesYou will be responsible for managing and optimising database services to ensure performance, security, and high availability across cloud and on-premises environments.Provide daily status reporting of all database services to relevant stakeholders.Deliver monthly performance optimisation and security assessment reports with actionable recommendations.Perform security patching of database servers and Corporate Oracle Enterprise Manager platforms in line with policies.Manage certificates for Oracle platforms, including rotations and troubleshooting issues.Ensure timely resolution of complex database and cloud infrastructure incidents and problems.Collaborate with product teams and developers to resolve technical issues and improve services.Deliver weekly database health reports and provide metrics for monthly service reporting.Required Skills/ExperienceStrong experience with Oracle Database Administration and Oracle Enterprise Manager.Proficiency in Amazon RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and SQL Server Database Administration.Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve ..... full job details .....
